The Phoenix Society was incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia
on June 16, 1964.

The purpose of the Society is to further the Organization; support the advancement of charitable, civic, or cultural projects within Greater Atlanta, and its environs; as may be deemed appropriate by the Board of Trustees.

The Society also provides a means whereby its members may, with grace and dignity, formally introduce their daughters, granddaughters, or other young ladies of close connection, to society; and to their civic obligations and responsibilities.
